I’ve been involved with Karma Rescue for the last few years. That’s where Gabby, my dog came from. (Thanks Rande, for saving the best dog ever!) I love helping the rescue in any way I can. Last year, I photographed their big fund-raising event. It was really a really great evening. It was the first year awards were given. The K9 Kid Award went to Zane Huett that year. What a cool little boy. He was one of their spokespeople and his love of animals is really touching. The other big award went to Beth Shaw of Yoga Fit. Her tireless efforts on behalf of dogs and cats is really remarkable.

See the event and all the fun here

Winston and Gabby. Gabby misses him. :) He’s spending the winter with his granny while mom and pop are traveling around Africa and working in an orphanage there.
