I can’t believe how much I love my job. Yes I can. :) Shilo is gorgeous! You might remember her from the pumpkin patch photos. Her mama is just as beautiful.

This blue wall was the perfect find. (Thank you husband!) He hated the flare. I love a sun flare here and there.

My friend Rachael (and an awesome photographer) loves doggie paws. These are for her! So cute!

Thanks to Shannon we got to use this cool car. She was just getting over being sick and still came out to meet us at the location. I love the car shots.

Another favorite. The light was amazing. We were surrounded by men flying planes…they were buzzing around our heads. Rex was fascinated with them. (you’ll see in later photos!)

Wow what a fantastic event! Gingerbread House Decorating with Piccolo Chef! It was perfect weather at the Westfield Century City Dining Terrace. The kids had an amazing time. So did the parents. So did I! What could be better than gingerbread, jellybeans, chocolate, gummy bears….you get the picture. (and since I’m a kid at heart and still love candy, I was in heaven. :) )
PC for blog

Who knew that every spot would be full by noon! Way to go Piccolo Chef! Take a look and see for yourself! Don’t forget to turn up the volume. Enjoy the slide show.

These are a few of my favorites. Duke was the perfect model. So handsome. So well behaved. He knew exactly what to do…all I had to do was touch my little blue pouch. (full of TREATS!)

Big, goofy, happy Duke! What a love bug. I am SO EXCITED to photograph him and his mama this coming weekend. You must come back to see the photos. I haven’t taken them yet, but he is so handsome and his mama is so cute, I know they are going to be fantastic. We’ll be shooting in Old Town Orange which is the coolest town ever. If you haven’t been there you need to visit. It’s like a town right out of the 50’s. Love it!

Danielle will also be VERY happy Olive made the cut. Another very sad tale, but with a very happy ending thanks to Barks Of Love and Danielle. Leave her story in the comments like you did for Brody. And if Olive’s new family is reading, give us an update on how she is doing!

{I just got this before photo of sweet Olive. Her original name was “All Love” :) but Danielle th get image Winner #10 {Old Town Orange Dog Photography}realized it was easier to just call her Olive. LOL This poor girl started out her life in the most horrible way. All you have to do is look at this shelter photo of her. Can you believe someone would do this to a dog? On purpose?!!??Thank you Danielle for saving this sweet girl!}

MM - 6

LET’S CELEBRATE!

We placed 4th again the year! My business success is almost entirely built on word-of-mouth recommendations that my clients give to families and friends, so this recognition really means a lot to me. Woo Hoo! Fusaro Photography is in the top five two years in a row!

So you know what that means! Book a session from now until the end of the year and get 10% off!

I want to say a huge congratulations to the other winners.

Susan Carey for first place. Her gorgeous fine art black and whites are a must see. Congrats Susan!

Ambitious Misfit placed 2nd. Such fun and spirited photography! If you live in Nevada, she’s doing a special session there this weekend.

Victoria Photography is in third place. Her photos are beautiful and so full of emotion. Way to go Victoria!

Fusaro Photography That’s me! :)

Cubrix Photography She specializes in birth photography. Good job Madeline!

Thanks again to all my wonderful clients! I couldn’t do what I do, without you!

And one last thing….For the month of January, as a big thank you to my newest rescue group, 10% of all bookings will go directly to Barks of Love as a donation from you. Thank you all for making 2009 a fantastic year.

Here’s to 2010! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season. Enjoy the food, the family and the relaxing. And remember… Celebrate the moments, capture them if you can and remember them always.

Best,

LORI

BarksCal0171 Winner #9 {Orange County Dog Photographer}

Olivia the teeny, tiny teacup pup. She was so curious about being up so high. I bet she never had seen the world from way up there before!

When I was photographing these dogs at the Laguna Hills Pumpkin City, I saw a very famous, very notorious celebrity. It was very exciting! Can you guess who it was?

Tamara, one of the Housewives of Orange County. (Yes, I am afraid I watch the show! It’s like a train wreck….I just can’t turn away!) I really wish I had gone up to say hello to her. She is one of my favorites to watch. And her kids are adorable. You know I’d love to get my lens on them.

(Tamara if you’re out there, give me a call! You can say you were photographed by one of LA’s top photographers and I can say I photographed the hottest OC housewife! A win, win for us both! ) ;)
