I’d say this year’s fundraiser, “Eat Your Art Out” was a huge success for the Angel City Roller Girls. I didn’t know what to expect and was blown away. The art was fantastic. So many talented people under one roof! The husband and I bid on a great piece, but sadly lost out. Totally bummed about it! The painting would have been perfect over our bed. (the large one with the blonde girl in the foreground) I have to find out if the artist has any other pieces. The crowd was having a great time and by the end of the night it was wall to wall people. Really cool cotton candy clouds, grilled cheese truck and never ending booze from the bar. Really glad Blow Hole asked me to photograph it.

Turn up the volume and enjoy a night of fantastic art and fun.

I have some really fantastic news. I’ve been nominated again for Best Portrait Photographer in Los Angeles. My business success is almost entirely built on word-of-mouth recommendations that my clients give to families and friends, so this nomination really means a lot to me. Last year I was thrilled I placed 4th. This year I would love to stay in the top 5 and I need your votes.

As a way of saying thank you for voting, I am going to give special rates to everyone who books a session during the month the winners are announced. If I place 4th again, everyone will get 10% off their session. If I place 3rd, everyone will get 15% off their session. For 2nd place, 20% off their session and if I win the top spot, everyone will receive 50% off their session fee. Yes, 50% off! Without you, I wouldn’t be as successful as I am today. So thank you!

If you would take a minute and vote for me I would really appreciate it. You can leave a review or not. Feel free to pass the voting link on to your friends, family and colleagues.

I really appreciate your trust in photographing all the important people and events in your family. Thank you so much for your continued support.

(And a very big thank you to everyone who has been so supportive and already voted for me!) Click the button below to vote for Fusaro Photography.

Lola The Beautiful

Posted on February 7, 2011

One of the best things about my job is being able to photograph the great loves in life, the special moments, the bonds that we share with so many. One of my favorites is getting to capture the bond between dogs and their people.

Susan got in touch with me to take pics of Lola, her beloved pup. She just found out Lola has cancer. (Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, send positive engergy, love, light a candle…all welcome! I know she would appreciate it!) As you can see, Lola is a happy go lucky girl and loved very, very much.

We had such a blast! Frisby, rolling in the grass, running and jumping. And then chasing the water. (They turned out to be some of my favorites.) And of course the two together. I love the way the light catches the red in Susan’s hair. Just beautiful.

Thank you, Susan, for trusting me to photograph you and Lola. Can’t wait for you to see the rest. I’ll email when they are ready. :)

Honestly, can it really be true? Bishop is already two years old. Holy cow! He was so adorable at the party. He couldnt’ believe how many kids were at his house. And the ball playing. And toys! And cupcakes. He was so serious eating his cupcake. So funny!

Enjoy the slide show. Don’t forget to adjust the volume.
