I was so excited when Roxy (the best esthetician and makeup artist) asked me to photograph her sister. She was pregnant with the first grandchild and everyone was so excited. Turns out, Gunner had other plans and wanted to meet everyone earlier than planned and so instead of photographs, he made his way into the world. No matter. I got to meet this adorable little boy and photograph him. Teeny tiny two week olds are one of my favorite subjects. My other favorite? Dogs like their sweet Maggie. The perfect photo shoot!
Gunner was an amazing trooper. He must love being the center of attention, because he lasted the entire shoot without getting fussy at all! Amazing for such a tiny little one.
I must admit, watching this slide show got me all choked up. (Warning to Grandma…have tissues ready!) So, turn up the volume, sit back and enjoy baby Gunny Bear!(password to gallery is baby’s middle name. All lowercase)

I was so excited when Molly called to see if I was available to photograph this fantastic event. I’ve known her for years through Facebook and other rescue friends, but never met her in person. Turns out she even works for the same company my husband works for! Small world!
She is an amazing person and does so much for animals. I don’t think she ever sleeps! She and her team raised over $85,000 for the animals. You read that right. 85 THOUSAND DOLLARS. Holy mackerel!
Molly’s Mutts and Meows’ adoption events are at a West Hollywood Park several Saturdays a month from 12-3pm. The tents are on the Robertson Blvd. side, south of Santa Monica Blvd. There is a paid parking lot right across from their tents, metered street parking, and some free 2-hour parking in the park’s lot off of San Vicente. If you want to do more and become a volunteer, find out more here.
This is round 2 of my favorites. There was so much going on that day and so many great photo ops, that I just couldn’t edit them down. LOL I’ll post the full gallery on Facebook later this afternoon. Until then, turn up the volume, sit back and enjoy this beautiful day!
